CLEARBLOCK command in essbase

CLEARBLOCK:

Clear block command  clears blocks of data and sets them to #MISSING.If you use CLEARBLOCK within FIX command, Essbase clears only the the cells within the fixed range, and not the entire block.

Syntax: CLEARBLOCK ALL / UPPER / NONINPUT / DYNAMIC / EMPTY;

1. CLEARBLOCK ALL command              : clears and removes all blocks.
2. CLEARBLOCK UPPER command         : clears consolidated level blocks or upper level blocks.
3. CLEARBLOCK NONINPUT command :  clear blocks containing derived values. Applies to blocks that are completely derived from calaculation operation.
4. CLEARBLOCK DYNAMIC command  : clears blocks containing values derived from dynamic calc and dynamic calc and store combinations.
5. CLEARBLOCK EMPTY command        : removes empty blocks(blocks which contains all #MISSING values).
